Alterations to the EXP Table We recently announced that we were creating new equations that would replace the absurd requirements to level up a character to level 85. Today, we have some results! Given that leveling up to level 65 is fairly easy, there were no major changes to these levels aside from the levels being reformulated. @FatalSkull and @Zach are creating a more agile and challenging AI for the mobs which will be implemented in the first update after the addition of SV. We will leave the minor details for another day, but for now we can confidently state that the current EXP requirements are 1/3 of what they used to be. It is worth noting that the current EXP table may undergo changes over time if we deem it necessary. An important detail was the readjustment we made for players in a party: 2-Player party bonus increased from 1.75% to 2% 3-Player party bonus increased from 1.80% to 5% 4-Player party bonus increased from 2.8% to 10% With this change, we want to make PvE parties more viable and attractive. As a sidenote, we will be removing the bonus in all crests very soon. On January 15th, we will be doing a poll so that players can give feedback on the changes and give us ways in which we can improve these changes. Your feedback is very valuable to us! Captain Mode (PvP) (changes not yet confirmed, they can be subject to changes before the server opens) You can now have funu in one of the player’s favorite gamemodes. Captain Mode is on! Gather your friends and face off against your opponents in a fierce battle. Stay within the rules of this special gamemode and earn incredible rewards! Rules:- To play this mode, at least four players are required. - Except for the Captain, all who are knocked out will be resurrected immediately, until the Captain is defeated twice. - The victory is decided as soon as either one of the Captains is defeated twice - The Captain is randomly decided by the game. Combat Features: - Except for the Captain, all player’s stats stay the same. - The Captain has a 50% increase in stats - The Captain is highlighted with a mark in his head. - A Captain’s HP does not recover Penalty Rules:- When a Captain is defeated for the first time, the stats of the opponent is reduced by 80%. It gives the players a chance to defeat the opposing Captain. Today, we’ve reached a conclusion that this is a problem without a solution. The 1607 version of Windows 10 (or higher) has made DirectX 12 the definitive version of Windows 10, however Grand Chase still uses the technology of DirectX which is heavily outdated. When Grand Chase tries to run DirectX 12, it suffers serious compatibility issues that make the game performance far below expectations. Sadly, because of this, Grand Chase becomes unworkable for any version of Windows 1607 and higher. To see your current Windows 10 version, hold the start button + R, then type “winver” (without quotes) and click confirm. The program which runs will show you its OS version. If you are version 1607 or higher, we recommend downgrading to version 1511 or lower. For the next few updates… We believe it is not news that we’re actively working on Season V. Today’s update will (possibly) be the last major update before the arrival of Season V. This means from this update onwards, we will be putting all our development into the release of Season V; this is the reason why we made the carnival update, as we did not want to have a similar issue like last year’s Halloween Event. We hope everyone understands this. PS: Any changes to the Seal Breaker & Reward System can occur, but nothing major.
